February Update

The 2016 membership form is available here. The sessions at Rowrah will start on the 4th May, further details nearer the time.

New Kit

A couple of pictures of the new Lakeland Sprinters kit being worn in action

There are still a small number of jerseys left in a variety of sizes, at a cost of £25 each.

New for 2016 are Lakeland Sprinter zipped hoodies. £10 each for child  sizes, £14.50 for Adult Sizes. These will be available at the first coaching sesion in May

Start of 2016 Season

Lakeland Sprinters cycling sessions start at Rowrah Kart Circuit on Wednesday 4th May.

Please find attached the 2016 membership form. It will save a lot of time at the first session if you could complete one for each child and bring it along together with the membership fee. Under British Cycling rules children are not allowed to take part unless we have written parental consent - this is included on the membership form.

There is more information in the attached welcome letter. Also attached is a poster should you wish to assist us with advertising the sessions.

Track Session at Manchester

The next track session for Lakeland Sprinters at Manchester Velodrome is on Sunday June 5th. It's for Lakeland Sprinters aged 9 to 16  who are members of British Cycling. To book a place please use the link below below. You must enter the Novice group unless you have been before and have been told you can move groups.

Stockton Cycling Festival North East Youth League

Congratulations to Jasmine who won her category of the North East Youth League round held in Stockton over the same weekend as the 2016 British Cycling National Road Championships

Penrith Grass Track event - 10th July

Here are some photos of Penrith Grass Track event, Jasmine came 5th in the Women's Omnium which was won by former Lakeland Sprinter (and coach) Jo Smith. Jo also won the Women's National 800m Championship.
